On Point Animal Hospital Surfside

Our little girl has been a patient of On Point for many years. The first time Dr. Todd met her, he walked into the room and sat down on the floor with her. These photos were taken after her most recent visit for a dental cleaning. Over the years we've gotten to know and even become friends with some of the staff members. UPDATE 11/20/23: Visited today as a "walk-in." Given how busy they are, I was pleasantly surprised that I only waited about an hour to see a vet! The vet I saw even told me how I could save some money by going ahead and getting my little girls lab work done today. It was time and one of the tests it includes is a urinalysis, which was necessary today! So I saved the cost of that service and took care of her 6 month checkup and labs in one visit instead of having to pay a second service charge! Very grateful!

Great very clean place. I recently found a stray and needed someplace to take us to get him checked asap! It was only 90$ to walk in which is cheaper than most places I have been. Also just to note I called around and so many places were not taking or seeing any new animals due to being full. I will be back and would recommend anyone go try this place! Dr Andrew and Hillary were GREAT!! PICTURE OF KITTY SAVED FROM STREETS!

I cannot praise On Point Animal Hospital enough!! They saved my dog’s life after he ate an entire bottle of medication that rolled under my bathroom sink. I only gave the receptionist a two minute notice and by the time we came through the door, they were ready with poison control on the other line. Not only were they quick to respond, they were so empathetic and accommodating on one of my worst days. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Yates and every person at On Point Animal Hospital that day. Because of you, Goose will be celebrating his first Christmas and soon his first birthday❤️

I have been taking my dog to Dr. Wimpee since 2015. She is a 13 year old German Shepherd, healthy and happy. We take her every 6 months for shots and once a year for complete physical. The few issues we have had were diagnosed and treated promptly. Dr. Wimpee and all of the staff at On Point take pride in their work, and genuinely care about all of their patients. They are the best.

I lost my soul today. My little best friend Penny, a Jack Russell Corgi mix. The folks here were so very kind and the vet, was really professional and empathic. If you need this service first let me say I understand your despair but know that here you will be met with a higher degree of care. You and your precious little gift of unconditional love and loyalty will receive support and care in a loving and sympathetic environment. Update: after arriving back home in NC, I had mail from here. A card with condolences for the loss of my little Penny and 3 white cards with 2 paw prints from Penny and it's little nose. This produced a lot of tears and a fresh round of grief, but I can still touch my nose to it's impression. It was something I did everyday before leaving for work. I miss Penny but hope to spend eternity with her in heaven.

While on vacation in Myrtle Beach, and far away from home, our elderly pug started showing some concerning symptoms. We were referred to on point and are very glad we were. Their doctors, nurses, and staff did an excellent job diagnosing what was going on with our beloved pup. They took great care of him and communicated compassionately with us so we could understand what was happening. Thankfully, they were able to nurse him back to health within a couple days and we were able to head back home as expected. Billing was fair and they went to great lengths to avoid excessive charges.

I would highly recommend this facility I came in with no appointment with a cat thinking I wouldn’t be bringing him home. The staff so caring and wonderful and the vet came out and told me he could remove the tumor and the cat would make a full recovery and be able to come home. What started out as a very bad beginning of the year turned out to be the best. It’s been seven days since his surgery and he’s back to his old self .Thank you to the doctor and entire staff for giving my baby a new lease on life and for being so compassionate! God Bless you all
